Evaluation of the finished magazine

This is my finished cover: The cover font I got some idea look from the Karrang! magazine but I'm not refer it to a sound but for the style, a heavy look and the font style that looks like it's shaking. It gives the expression of rock within itself. The use of colors for all the words on the cover, I decied to base it on the color of the background imga that I chose, and I choose yellow and red as the color theme for the contents page and double page spread. The font I choose for the word 'rank' is the same font as the name of the magazine because it give out a shaking feels with red it brings the important of the meaning of the word out more. For the main sell's details information I use a simple fonts that is easy to read but still have it's heavy and bold style in itself. I set the pirce for this magazine at 3.50 because my target audience's class it between B C1 and C2 where it's not too expensive for teenager too.






Finished contents page: For the 'contents' font I still use the same font as the cover and still accompany with the blue color but only half because if I use all in blue it wil be too light and disolve with the image so the other half I make it to be in black instead. Followed by the name of the magazine but smaller in the left corner of the page so the it would attract the main point of the page. Also the idea of placing the issue and date of the the magazine on this page from the example in Q magazine and Karrang! As for the concept for my contents page is to be nicely organize by put them into catagories which I got this idea from rock sound magazine. By doing so it will be easy for the reader to focus at what part of the magazine they are looking or looking for. The use of color still stand on the maind theme color which are yellow, red, and by follow the base color from the main fleash photos are brown color that I use it as a background of the contents page. Less images, I only use some images to refer to the article but not every single article and keep the main flesh image bigger than the other pictures because the main flesh is also in the main features of the magazine. Font: I use Times New Roman because its a neat stlye font that are easy to read. For each catagory's title font I use Cooper black as it give a cool looing that suit for rock magazine and not to exaggerated.

Finished double page spread: Follow the same mind set on the use of color, I use black and light blue as the theme for the page. With the article of Silver, I use a lighter blue almost grey so that it can empazise the the word through color. The color of the page as a whole are in dark tone which I want it to give the feeling of a rock music and a rock band. The use of red color to point out the important sentence from the article. Through this process I follow the idea from a double page in Karrang! magazine where there also use color to emphasize the meaning of the word or the story of the article.

An over all feed back of magazine:

Double page spread: The lay out of the pages are well structured and easy to read. Nicely position of the images. The article's story in the magazine is also well written and makes the reader wanting to finish reading it.

Cover: There are some interesting photos but it could be more. The colour of the page can express more on the dark colour to suit more with the genre of the music.

Content page: It is suit well with the target audience's age. Too much writting. Good choice of coulour.
