Planning and evaluation fo the article

After some reasearch of other music magazine on their double page spread it gave me lots of idea of how to lay out the page, use of color and language. Result of language from Q magazine, they use a formal language but for Karrang! magazine's language is and english standart with some slang words used. From what I get through this research I decided the language use for my magazine to be formal and the article will be Profiles type. The profiles type is where I do the in-depth overview in one of the band. Throughout my article will also include some of their answers that I get from interviewing them. Follow by some quote that stood out during the interview that will also draws the audience attention of wanting to know more about the article. The quote that I have for the article will be put into a saparate box apart from the article boxes. Because the article talk about a new band, so I also put their name, age, and the instrument that each of them play. I think this can be another way of introducing them to the reader. The photos that I have for this article aren't dominated in two page but stay only one side of the page but the articles are dominated to the other page.

This is my first draft for my double page. I have been asking my friend what she think about my lay out. Her oppinion for my lay out is that the way I position the photos look more like a fashion magazine rather a music magazine. Which I do agree with her and one of the reason is because I don't have the background in image or view but playing in color instead.

This is my second draft or I'll say my final draft. i change the position of the images and group them in one of the page. I still stay with the same background which are two colors fading. The color tone of the background I base on the color from one of the imgas' shirt which are light and dark blue almost gray. The background color are also well fit with the Title of the artical, 'Silver'. I also choose the color for the word 'silver' in light gray to refer the word itself.
